Escape to your private lodge down a long wooded drive that brings you to Laurel Ridge, on 26 tranquil acres overlooking the Rocky River in central North Carolina. The Inn stands on the edge of a dense hardwood forest adjacent to a country meadow, sculpted perennial gardens, and a rare stand of mountain laurel hugging the hillside.

Take the walking trail through the woods to the river’s edge, or enjoy an easier stroll through our pastoral grounds—recognized by the National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat.

The Inn is a distinctive timber-frame house built in 1983. Pine floors and large exposed beams give our Bed & Breakfast a truly unique ambiance. Each room is designed, furnished and decorated to make our guests feel pampered, yet comfortable.

Conveniently located between the Triangle (Chapel Hill, Raleigh and Durham and the Triad (Greensboro, High Point and Winston Salem), Laurel Ridge is an easy escape. If its pottery shopping, furniture hunting, antique browsing, going to the Zoo, or just relaxing, a rewarding stay awaits you.

• Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to arrival will be refunded only if the room can be rebooked.
• Check-in: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (other arrangements by prior appointment only)
• Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
• Smoking is not allowed in the Inn or Cottage.
• Sorry we cannot accommodate pets.
